More particularly it is identical to the process of transformation of the modal network in the process of morphing, and the dichotomy of constant versus movable scale degrees which is seminal in this process of transformation, as it is theoretically and practically inherent in the Bulgarian, Byzantine and Ancient Greek historical roots of this technique and the correlation of it with the technique of image morphing, as discussed in Chapters 1 and 2.
